Petards subsidiary secures ANPR order from UK police force

Petards announced on Thursday that its subsidiary QRO Solutions has secured an order worth over £0.4m for in-vehicle automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) systems from an existing UK police force customer.
The AIM-traded firm said the contract, one of the largest in-vehicle ANPR orders ever secured by the company, would cover the supply of QRO’s QBox ANPR and ANPR/DVR systems.
Initial deliveries were set to begin in the first quarter of 2025, with all systems expected to be delivered by the end of the year.
“These are exciting times for QRO and it is pleasing to see another of its customers placing a significant order for its ANPR systems, demonstrating the confidence customers have both in QRO's technologies and in the high levels of customer support it provides,” said Petards chairman Raschid Abdullah.
At 1236 GMT, shares in Petards Group were up 4.67% at 7.85p.
