RWS Holdings names new chief product and technology officer

RWS Holdings named Christina Scott as its new chief product and technology officer on Monday - a role created to lead the company’s global product and technology strategy.
The AIM-traded firm said Scott would bring over 25 years of experience in digital transformation and technology leadership, with a track record of delivering revenue growth and operational efficiencies across sectors including media, energy, healthcare and education.
“We're delighted to welcome Christina to our executive team,” said RWS chief executive officer Ben Faes.
“Christina is a highly collaborative and forward-thinking leader with a solid background in delivering on customer needs and fostering a culture of operational and product excellence.
“We look forward to having her on the team.”
Prior to joining RWS, Scott held senior roles at Ovo Energy, News UK, News Corp and the Financial Times, where she led major digital and data-driven initiatives.
At RWS, Scott would be responsible for shaping the innovation agenda and driving execution of the firm’s product roadmap as it looked to scale its technology-enabled language, content and IP solutions globally.

At 1159 BST, shares in RWS Holdings were up 1.7% at 83.9p.
